Give It A Try
Gary Ming is an ex-brick layer, an ex-steel-erector, an ex-junkie and an ex-con. Give It A Try deals with difficult subjects and painful feelings – drugs, prison, death, guilt, love and despair. By turns bitter and tender, cynical and lyrical, these poems are an unflinching record of one man’s discovery of the redemptive power of poetry. Go on – give it a try.
