Ek Zuban (One Language) is a collection of poetry and short prose in Urdu and English, created and transfigured by writers living in and around the Tees Valley. The publication is the culmination of a programme of workshops, seminars and day schools in which the group explored the difficult process of literary translation and sought to develop new work through cross-cultural collaboration.

Ek Zuban is an attempt to bridge the barriers of national speech and celebrates the diversity of literary traditions co-existing within the Tees Valley.
