| It's a delight to see at last
a collection of Norah's poetry. She occupies a distinctive but unobtrusive
and courteous place in the map of Teesside poetry. Her finely worked
poems speak passionately with a sense of place. They range in subject
matter from compassionate observation of inner city life, through precise attention to nature, to close observation of objects which allow her to meditate on the spiritual. Her poems are complex, subtle, richly textured and full of euphony. |
